BUFFALO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 1996--The National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE: NFG) Board of Directors today approved payment of a regular quarterly dividend of 42 cents per share on the company's common stock.
In June the dividend was increased by 3.7 percent to an annual rate of $1.68 per share.
The dividend is payable January 15, 1997 to shareholders of record on December 31, 1996.
The company has approximately 38.0 million shares of common stock outstanding. It has no preferred stock issued.
National Fuel has paid dividends for 94 consecutive years.
