NSW: Man dead after ram attack
A 67-year-old man is dead after he and his mate were attacked by a raging ram on a
property in the New South Wales southern highlands.
The two men were feeding cows and sheep in paddocks on a property on the Old Hume Highway,
Berrima, when the ram charged at the younger man, aged 46.
His older companion went to help but the ram attacked him, striking him in the chest.
A police spokeswoman says the ram then charged and struck the injured man in the chest and back.
The older man suffered breathing problems and his condition deteriorated, paramedics
unable to revive him.
Rangers have removed the ram from the property and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
