The latest charge against Sherry Kaye, the so-called "Shrimp Lady," was adjourned for a week Monday in City Court.
Kaye, 42, was arrested on the charge of petit larceny on Oct. 22 at the Price Chopper store on Eastern Parkway, after allegedly walking out of the store with some merchandise.
That arrest came just hours after she had been sentenced in Schenectady County Court to time served on a felony charge of first-degree scheme to defraud. Those charges were lodged after she repeatedly went to grocery stores in the Capital District, grabbed merchandise, usually seafood, then tried to get a refund. …
